Every project begins with a place, and with what is already there.
We work across new homes, restorations, additions and interiors, often finding ways to build with the landscape, climate, materials and memories that already shape a place.
The tabs below bring together our work by the kind of intervention.
Most of our work begins with someone who has land, bought, inherited, or partly cleared, and wants the built structures to grow from the slope. We start with the site, understanding its contours before we draw.
An ancestral home. A colonial bungalow. A vernacular house abandoned for decades. We bring these back with their original stone, pataal slate, timber and mud plaster, retaining what gives them their character while making thoughtful additions and changes for the way they need to be lived in today.
Sometimes the building is already there. A homestay that needs two more rooms. A new dining room or a cafe in a resort. A house raised wrong that needs turning around. An orchard that needs somewhere to eat. Smaller scope, shorter timelines, the same care.
We carry the same approach indoors, designing spaces and the things within them – from furniture and storage to finishes and smaller details. Everything is made to belong, balancing what is useful with what feels right for the place.
