Situated in Writer’s Village, Lamgara, this project came to us as an already raised single storey structure with major issues in the construction and layout. The slab had been cast without leaving the cut-out for the staircase! Layout of the house was haphazard and needed better planning while resolving the circulation.
We turned it around such that the windows frame breath-taking mountain views and bring in just the right amount of sun and outdoors in. A glass box encasing the staircase was added to the structure and roof was resolved. Each space is further enhanced by the client’s treasured heirloom furniture.
