Kaafalaya is Shweta and Johann’s house, and one of the remotest sites we have worked on. Its near Danya in Almora district.The design took its shape from the traditional stone houses here, and then changed as the site made its demands. Getting anything up there is hard, and that shows in the decisions.Shweta and Johann lived on site through the build and worked on it with their own hands.
